Eir Stegalkin

Slowly going back to drawing and especially learning digital painting. So I decided to make a little tribute to Eir Stegalkin, one of my favourite characters of the MMORPG Guild Wars 2.
It's far from being perfect, but I definitely learnt a lot while doing it: process, how to go from a simple sketch to a finished(ish) painting, shadows, lights, contrast and values, how to apply colour and render matter...
The whole painting took me a total of 17 hours and 45 minutes spread across a few weeks.
